About

Saintly Vegurwesf was born in the Sharlayan colony prior to the Garlean incursion into Aldenard. Born of a refugee mother from the Skatay Range and raised by an adoptive Sharlayan father, Saintly received a formal upbringing in the colony up until the exodus in 1562. In disagreement with the Forum and at odds with his father, Saintly left the colony southwards as it was abandoned. A young academic on the run during a time of war, Saintly would spend the next several years moving around different settlements. He typically served as a medic in refugee camps fleeing the war with Garlemald, never staying in one place for too long.After fifteen years on the road, Saintly finally began to plant roots - working at a company out of Ul’dah while reaching out to his father once the war with Garlemald was over. With a more stable lifestyle he managed to live part of his time in Sharlayan, returning to Studium to finish his education, and part of his time in Ul’dah, applying what he learns in his research and his work. Nearing the end of his studies, Saintly longed for travel and exploration again - and turned his gaze towards the new world.Hearing of the Shetona on the northern continent, Saintly made way to Tural to study the Vieran tribe and lend his services to any he came across as a mender and scholar. However, calamity struck when the dome fell over Shetona lands - and he was absorbed into Alexandria alongside the tribe he was living with. After thirty years, he has made a new life in Alexandria; opening a bookshop in the Outskirts after retiring from being a hunter. As the dome opens, a now middle-aged Saintly lives a life divided between Sharlayan, Alexandria, and Eorzea.
